Our Ranch: Welcome to Big Island Alpacas

General Beauregard

Big Island Alpaca Farm is located in the Big Island of Hawaii. We are a few miles from Ka Lae (South Point) which is the southernmost tip of United States and believed to be the first landing site of the Polynesians. We are also only a few miles from the Green Sand Beach, the world-famous Na'alehu Bakery and the Black Sand Beach where Hawaiian turtles bask on the sand and soak up the sunshine in the mornings. We are about 40 miles south of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, home to Kilauea Volcano, which has lava flowing to the sea since 1983 and home of Madame Pele.

We have all the climates of the world except Artic and Antarctic. Yes, we get snow -- on top of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa.

Hawaii is one of the healthiest states to live in and we raise healthy, happy alpacas.
